For more than 40 years, Eric Nichols has helped individuals and families meet their retirement, lifestyle, and family legacy goals.

Eric is a Registered Principal, Registered Representative, and an Investment Advisor Representative with United Planners. He completed his undergraduate work at Ferris State University, obtaining an Associate of Science in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also received his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr. Eric received the Member of the Million Dollar Round Table award in 1996

Eric is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), demonstrating that he acts in the best interest of his clients.

Eric is involved in the Milford Chamber of Commerce and served on the Milford Downtown Development Authority (DDA) for over a decade. He has taught personal finance courses to all ages from elementary students to senior citizens.

Michael is a CFP® professional who graduated Summa Cum Laude earning his Bachelor of Science while double majoring in Bible and Counseling at Johnson University and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. Michael has been working with Eric since 2014. Beforehand, he spent nearly four years working in higher education financial aid/student accounts, where he helped college students and their families determine the best options to pay for school. He was also in charge of creating and implementing a brand new financial literacy program for students. He enjoys teaching about personal finance topics and has taught about insurance, saving and investing, as well as student loans. He specializes in assisting clients with their life, disability, and long-term care insurance needs.

Michael enjoys movies, reading, sports, golf, and fitness. He lives with his wife, Alli, and their two children near Milford in Highland, Michigan.
